Ageing and wrinkles are completely natural. Sooner or later, everyone gets small laugh lines, pigmentation spots or sagging skin. Although the ageing process is individual to each person, it cannot be completely prevented despite perfect skin care. If the signs of ageing become noticeable, there are various aesthetic treatments to choose from to smooth and rejuvenate the skin and give it a harmonious radiance. Which methods are the most popular? And how do you find out which one is best for you? We give you an overview of the minimally invasive wrinkle treatments at our institute!
Minimally invasive procedures still in vogue
Developments in aesthetic medicine in recent years have shown that patients are particularly interested in minimally invasive methods. These are gentle procedures that are carried out without surgical steps. They offer the advantage of hardly putting any strain on the body and achieving a quick, natural result. The latest statistics from the DGÄPC and VDÄPC, two renowned specialist societies for aesthetic medicine, also place minimally invasive wrinkle treatment at the top of the list of the most popular aesthetic treatments. The German Society for Aesthetic Botulinum and Filler Therapy (DGBT) has also been observing the growing importance of injection therapies in aesthetic medicine for some time and provides a wealth of information about treatments with Botox® and fillers such as hyaluronic acid on its website.
Botulinum toxin for expression lines
Expression lines are caused by facial muscle tension, which in turn compresses the skin, which loses its elasticity over time. Particularly active areas are the forehead, the eye area and the mouth. Botulinum toxin can be used to reduce annoying expression lines. The active ingredient, also known colloquially as Botox®, has a relaxing effect on muscles and skin. The idea that Botox® leads to a rigid and mask-like appearance is often still deeply rooted. However, if the treatment is carried out by an experienced and specially trained expert such as Dr. Kors, this fear is unfounded. This is because Botox® enables harmonious rejuvenation with minimal risk.
Dr. Kors is also listed on the DGBT website as an expert in botulinum and hyaluronic acid treatments and trains colleagues in the field of aesthetic injection therapy.
Hyaluronic acid – smoothing, volume and contour
Hyaluronic acid is a very popular and frequently used active ingredient in aesthetics. It occurs naturally in the body and has the ability to bind a lot of fluid. As a result, it achieves a very good lifting effect and can add volume to specific regions. This is used in wrinkle treatment as well as in volume and contour treatment. Hyaluronic acid also improves tissue hydration and gives the skin a healthy glow and fresh appearance.
NCTF® also represents an innovation in the area of fillers. This is a hyaluronic acid mix for biorevitalization, which is introduced into the tissue using a special technique and an innovative needle. The active ingredient can be used to gently rejuvenate the face (especially the eye area), neck and hands.

PRP therapy – autologous blood for skin rejuvenation
The third injection therapy in the group is PRP therapy. PRP is the abbreviation for platelet-rich plasma. This is a concentrate that is extracted from the blood. As the name suggests, blood plasma, which is rich in platelets, growth factors and proteins, is used. These stimulate the body’s own repair processes and lead, among other things, to the formation of fresh collagen and improved blood circulation in the area. This rejuvenates and tightens the skin.
PRP can also be used in the hair area to support increased hair growth. As a supplement to hair transplantation, it improves the results achieved.
Microneedling and RF microneedling
Another option for wrinkle treatment and skin rejuvenation is microneedling. In classic microneedling, tiny, fine needles are repeatedly inserted into the tissue using a small handpiece, which triggers the tissue’s natural repair and renewal process. As the needles are very thin and the skin is locally anesthetized beforehand, the treatment is virtually painless. It can also be combined with PRP treatment to enhance the desired effects.
A modern further development of microneedling is RF microneedling. The needles also emit radio frequency energy, which also stimulates collagen synthesis in the tissue and thus skin tightening. We carry out RF microneedling with Secret™ PRO at our institute. This procedure can also be combined with CO2 laser treatment to achieve even more beautiful and effective results for certain indications. We will be happy to advise you personally on which treatment is the right one for your needs and how the method works.
Chemical peeling for skin renewal
Chemical peels are often used for acne, small wrinkles or blemished skin. Fruit acid peelings in particular – the gentle form of peelings – are used more for prophylaxis and to refresh the skin. They can also improve small wrinkles. For more severe wrinkles, however, a medium to deep peel is recommended.
Exactly what your skin needs – we advise you personally
There is no general answer as to which method of gentle wrinkle treatment is best. It always depends on the individual skin condition and the desired result. This is why a precise analysis and careful advice in advance is important. At our institute, we work with the VISIA® Gen7 deep skin analysis, which breaks down various aspects of the skin. Based on the results, the perfect treatment and care can be put together for you. We would be happy to advise you on the possibilities of gentle wrinkle treatment during a personal visit to our practice. You are welcome to use our online appointment system.
